Job requirements:
- 1-2 years of civil infrastructure experience - Solid understanding of Health & Safety regulations - Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week - Valid Class 1 Full driver’s license - New Zealand citizen or resident - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
Job responsibilities:
- Setting up edge protection, scaffolding, barriers, and temporary structures - Digging trenches, earthworks, and pipelaying - Assisting in installing structures like steel beams, columns, concrete, or retaining walls - Performing maintenance and repairs on pipelines and structures - Following safety procedures and wearing correct PPE - Caring for and maintaining tools and equipment on-site
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of civil infrastructure experience - Valid Class 1 Full driver’s license - New Zealand citizen or resident - Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test - Provide references to verify experience
Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans - Strong work ethic and dedication to team success - Site Safe Civil Passport, Confined Spaces, and Working at Heights certifications are an advantage
