Sous Chef Full-time Job

- Seeking a sous chef for newly established restaurant - Restaurant opening in February or March 2025 - Restaurant named "Puen Eatery & Bar" with a focus on Thai and Lao cuisine - Offering traditional and fusion Thai and Lao dishes - Open 7 days a week for lunch and dinner - Located in the vibrant Uptown area of Auckland

Job requirements:

- 3+ years of experience in Lao cuisine - Knowledge of Thai cuisine - Relevant qualifications are advantageous

Job responsibilities:

- Prepare authentic Lao and Thai dishes - Create a variety of Lao dishes with diverse fillings - Cook traditional Thai specialties - Ensure high food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards - Contribute to menu planning and dish presentation - Support kitchen operations and supervise staff

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in Lao cuisine - Knowledge of Thai cuisine - Relevant qualifications are advantageous

Skills:

- Passion for creating authentic and flavorful dishes - Ability to work 6 days a week - Strong culinary skills in Lao and Thai cuisine

Benefits:
