Sous Chef Full-time Job

Key points:

• Exciting opportunity to become part of Sudima Hotels group
• Full-time position with a salary of $76,000 per annum
• Minimum guaranteed hours of 40 hours per week
• Located at Sudima Auckland Airport Hotel

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, prepare, and produce all recipes in line with cooking standards
• Organize and work in the kitchen service operations
• Prepare and present outstanding dishes in all outlets
• Encourage and support junior chefs and kitchen assistants
• Maintain knowledge of purchasing procedures and standards
• Ensure quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation

Requirements:

• Minimum of two years' relevant experience
• Certificate in Cookery (Level 4) is an advantage
• Expert in product quality and presentation skills
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills
• Understanding of managing costs and MS Office
• Experience in conference and banqueting
