Responsibilities:

- Commitment to excellence in clinical practice - Working autonomously with training - Collaboration with an interdisciplinary team - Comfortable working in various settings - Sensitivity to cultural and disability issues - Keeping up-to-date with assistive technology - Credentialing in Communication Assistive Technology - Proficient in assessment, report writing, and workload management - Proficient in teaching assistive communication technology use - Problem-solving skills under pressure

Requirements:

- Degree in Speech-Language Therapy or equivalent - 2+ years of experience as a Speech-Language Therapist - Ministry of Health Communication Assistive Technology Level 1 or 2 assessor credentialing preferred - Organized and comfortable with computer-based technology - Full driver's license for regional travel - Cultural awareness and experience is desirable
