About the Role

Join a trans-disciplinary team dedicated to making a real difference in the lives of children and young people as a Speech Language Therapist based in Botany Office. Your role will involve understanding and addressing speech and language difficulties in various contexts and collaborating closely with parents, caregivers, teachers, and specialists to support children's communication skills development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessing the impact of speech and language difficulties
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to support children's speech and language development

Salary Range: $69,966 - $118,450 per annum + 3% Kiwi Saver matching

About You

To excel in this role, you need a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Therapy or an equivalent qualification recognized by the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists Association. You should have a deep understanding of speech-language theory, child development, and excellent communication skills to work effectively with children, young people, families, and teachers.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in Speech-Language Therapy
  • Specialist knowledge in speech-language, child development, and learning
  • Ability to translate specialist knowledge into practical information
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working in partnership with families, educators, and other agencies, you will help maximize learning outcomes and promote social inclusion.
