About the Role
As a Lead Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in leading our structural engineering team towards creative solutions and outstanding project outcomes. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing junior engineers and fostering a culture of excellence. We encourage the promotion of sustainable design, green initiatives, and the use of cutting-edge construction materials. Your focus will be on creating functional and environmentally conscious designs that make a positive impact on the communities we serve.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Hold a Structural Engineering degree
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting environment
- Chartered NZ Professional Engineer (CPEng) or working towards it
- Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, ideally exposure to SPACE GASS, ETABS, SAFE, or similar platforms
- Experience with seismic design and analysis is highly desirable
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients
- Strong attention to detail
