Job requirements

• Recent experience working with young people

• An understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum and of different learning methods

Job responsibilities

• Supporting identified students within Years 3-13 in one-on-one or group setting
• Supporting students to build knowledge, confidence, and access to the curriculum
• Attending and providing feedback/forward for school staff, students, and families
• Assisting in the development of Individualised Education Programmes (IEP)
• Participating in school activities when required

Qualifications

• Ability to cater for a student’s varying needs
• Excellent relationship building and communication skills
• Patience, resilience, adaptability, and empathy
