Job Requirements:

- Current EWRB Registration and a relevant electrical trade qualification - Demonstrated expertise in high-voltage systems, preferably in substations - Solid understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards - Must be a New Zealand citizen, resident, or hold a valid work permit

Job Responsibilities:

- Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting transformers, circuit breakers, switchgear, and substation equipment - Performing preventative maintenance to ensure uninterrupted power supply - Reading and interpreting complex technical drawings, schematics, and specifications - Adhering to safety standards and ensuring compliance with electrical regulations - Testing and commissioning high-voltage equipment to ensure peak performance - Collaborating with engineers and technical teams to deliver exceptional results

Qualifications:

- Current EWRB Registration - Relevant electrical trade qualification

Skills:

- Strong troubleshooting skills - Ability to think on your feet - Proficient in interpreting electrical diagrams and blueprints
