About the Opportunity

We have a newly created opportunity for a Sustainability Communications Advisor to join our Sustainability Hub. This role involves identifying content opportunities to engage and enlighten University staff, students, alumni, and partners on sustainability-related content, support, and events. Collaborate closely with the Central Communications Team and have the chance to create change and inspiration in the sustainability sector.

About You

We are looking for an outgoing individual who can connect with people across the university. As a self-motivated person, you will be comfortable working alone at times. Innovation and exploration are encouraged in this role, and experience with a NFP or similar organization is beneficial.

Important Skills

Qualifications in public relations, journalism, or related fields are essential. You should have 3-5 years of experience in digital writing, editing, and publishing, strong relationship management skills, excellent written communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office and web content publishing.

About the Team

The Sustainability Hub at the University of Auckland connects various sustainability activities and offers advice to the Sustainability Management Board. The hub supports sustainability curriculum development, student leadership, progress monitoring, and more.
