Technical Sales Professional - Pump & Water Flow Systems

Join our client, a leading company in Flow Control, as a Technical Sales professional for the Asia Pacific region. They are on a mission to maintain and aggressively expand sales in New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

Responsibilities:

• Achieve specific sales targets and provide ongoing support to corporate accounts, distributors, water districts, irrigation clients, and large industrial accounts.
• Drive specifications and sales of products within the industry sector.
• Establish our client as the primary supplier in the Asia Pacific region and ensure compliance with all required standards.
• Develop call/marketing and distribution strategies for both short and long term.
• Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical support internally and externally.

About You:

• Substantial experience in computer order entry and external sales practices.
• Considerable sales and order entry experience, preferably in Flow Control.
• Proficient in computer hardware, office equipment, and software applications for sales and order entry.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, engineering drawings, and purchase orders.
• Reasonable level of mechanical skill.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Self-motivated, quality-focused, and responsive.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, PDF, and Publisher.

Previous experience with water utilities, electronics, and hydraulics would be advantageous, as would exposure to Automatic Control valves and associated products.

Penrose, Auckland

Salary:

$100,000 – $110,000 per year
