Job Description: Workshop Assistant at Peke Waihanga

Peke Waihanga is currently seeking a Workshop Assistant to support the Workshop Lead in organizing the workshop, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and maintaining high-quality device manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with the workshop team and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities of a Workshop Assistant

  • Organize tools, equipment, and workshop consumables
  • Facilitate smooth workflow and enhance productivity
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and coordinate repairs
  • Work closely with the workshop and clinical teams for effective communication
  • Assist in the assembly and testing of medical devices
  • Contribute to process improvements for enhanced productivity and quality
  • Implement health and safety policies and procedures

Qualifications and Requirements
