Moana New Zealand is a company dedicated to sustainability managed fisheries and connecting the world to New Zealand's best seafood. As part of our nightshift team in Mt Wellington, we are looking for a dedicated Fish Reception Administrator.

Job Details:

  • Location: Mt Wellington, Auckland
  • Working Hours: Nightshift – Sunday to Thursday 6:00 pm – 2:30 am
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Your Role:

As a Fish Reception Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing processes, systems, and documentation for the landing and reception of fresh fish into the factory. This hands-on role requires strong attention to detail, organization, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accuracy of Fish Landing Documents (FLDs)
  • Complete quality checks for fish and trucks
  • Facilitate stock rotation in the chillers
  • Verify bin counts and actual quantities received
  • Support food safety procedures and regulations

What We Are Looking For:

We are seeking candidates with at least 12 months of experience in an administration role, preferably in a fresh foods or manufacturing environment. Strong communication skills, the ability to work nightshifts, and eligibility to work in NZ are essential requirements for this role.
