About the Role

Are you passionate about cocktails, delicious food, and providing exceptional service? Join our team as a Part-Time Barperson at Sudima Auckland City Hotel's Sunset Bar and East Restaurant. You will be responsible for bar preparation, supporting the restaurant team, creating extraordinary cocktails, and ensuring a successful evening drinks service.

Responsibilities

To excel in this role, you should have experience in a similar position and a genuine interest in exceeding guest expectations. Key responsibilities include ensuring bar and table cleanliness, preparing beverages to order, completing closing procedures, and handling daily banking tasks. You will also support the restaurant team with drink and food service, demonstrating a passion for creating exceptional cocktails and mixed alcoholic drinks.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of bar service experience, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of the Sale of Liquor Act. Additionally, you should possess a strong knowledge of wine varieties, beers, and cocktails, and be available to work weekends and evenings. Candidates must have the legal right to work in New Zealand to be considered for this role.
