What You'll Be Doing

  • Owning end-to-end tasks for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing financial statements, tax planning, and ensuring compliance
  • Reviewing the work of junior staff
  • Managing commercial aspects of engagements for quality and profitability
  • Building and maintaining client relationships

What They're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have 3-6+ years of experience in a New Zealand accounting practice at a supervisory/reviewer level. Proficiency in Xero packages, knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements, and experience in stakeholder management are essential. Strong leadership and team management skills are also crucial.
