Job Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled individual to join our team of 12 in Hobsonville. The ideal candidate should have a well-rounded experience in timber work, fiberglass work, plumbing, and all other aspects of boatbuilding. Their responsibilities will include:

• Working closely with the boatbuilding and electronics team
• Annual service program work
• Vessel re-designs and fiberglass work
• Lifting boarding platforms
• Teak timber work
• Davit installations
• Gyro stabilizer installations
• Interior fit-out and cabinetry
• Custom and bespoke additions
• Problem-solving and outside-the-box thinking

What We Offer

We provide a highly competitive remuneration of approximately $50 per hour on a contractor's agreement, based on skill level. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work on luxurious boats and gain insights from our highly qualified team. With an average of 44 hours per week, this position offers a fulfilling work experience.

Requirements

As you will be working on some of New Zealand's most luxurious vessels, we expect the following from potential candidates:

• Pride in appearance, punctuality, and good manners
• Motivation and ability to work well with others
• Proficiency in spoken and written English
• Clean, full, and current driver's license as work may involve tasks at marinas around Auckland
