Position Overview

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Branch Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Branch Manager in various operational aspects of the business, including customer service, team management, and administrative tasks. This position is designed to provide growth opportunities and prepare the incumbent for future leadership roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Act as the primary point of contact for customers, handle inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales: Provide quotes, manage job scheduling, and meet business targets.
  • Administration: Generate invoices, assist with reports, and maintain job scheduling.
  • Reporting: Track and report on key performance metrics to the Branch Manager.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster open communication with stakeholders and represent the company at events.
  • Team Management and Operations: Support the Branch Manager in managing the team and overseeing daily operations.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, develop partnerships, and execute promotional activities.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement process improvements and optimize resource utilization.
  • Team Development: Conduct training programs, performance reviews, and team-building activities.
  • Technology and Innovation: Utilize digital tools and encourage innovation within the team.
  • Financial Management: Assist in budget preparation, monitor financial performance, and implement cost control measures.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with regulations, provide training, and manage incidents.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role should have proven experience in customer service, sales, and administration. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in job management systems and industry-related experience would be advantageous.
