The Role of Business Development Manager (BDM)

As a Business Development Manager at Pro Waterblasting Auckland, you will have the exciting opportunity to drive business growth by securing new commercial clients in diverse industries. Leveraging your B2B sales expertise, networking capabilities, and prospecting skills, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies to expand our client base.

Responsibilities of the BDM

- Secure new commercial clients swiftly across various industries - Create and execute a proactive outreach program for generating business leads - Establish strong relationships with potential clients and decision-makers - Deliver compelling presentations highlighting our services and value proposition - Negotiate and finalize contracts to secure new business and recurring revenue - Manage client relationships throughout the sales cycle - Track and report on key performance indicators and sales metrics - Conduct Pre-Start meetings with clients to discuss project scopes

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess: - Proven success in B2B sales with a consistent track record of exceeding targets - Experience in building relationships within the Auckland business community (preferred) - Proficiency in developing and implementing effective sales strategies - Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills - Ability to cultivate trust and strong relationships with clients - Self-motivation, results-driven mindset, and high-energy performance - Familiarity with CRM software is an advantage
