The Role
As a Commercial Finance Manager at Mercury, you will work closely with the Head of Business Performance & Investor Relations to drive operational excellence and facilitate sound decision-making processes within the business. This pivotal role involves interpreting complex financial data, developing insightful business cases, and collaborating with various teams to identify and execute commercial opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Partnering with the Generation leadership team to deliver operational excellence and strategic projects - Creating robust reporting and contributing to the annual business planning process - Building reporting frameworks and conducting financial modeling - Providing insightful information and data to support commercial decision-making
Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should possess: - Strong commercial acumen and business partnering capabilities - Proven experience in senior commercial finance roles within complex organizations - Proficiency in preparing business cases and strategic projects - Excellent financial modeling and analytical skills - Prior project management experience is advantageous - Effective communication skills and credibility at the Executive level
