Are you passionate about the lives of the elderly and possess excellent management skills? This large Rest-home, Hospital, and Dementia facility is seeking an experienced Care Home Manager to join their team. The position offers a very supportive management structure, along with a purpose-built facility that provides an excellent working environment.

About the Role

The ideal candidate for this position is a Facility Nurse Manager with exceptional communication, people skills, and a dynamic personality. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be supported by an experienced clinical and administration team. The role requires someone with outstanding management skills, a positive attitude, approachability, a good sense of humor, and a commitment to quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the facility
• Drive occupancy and quality management
• Manage financials within the specified budget
• Promote a team environment

Skills and Experience Required

The successful candidate should have post-graduate studies in Management Nursing, such as Gerontology or Business Studies, and a minimum of 3 years of Residential Aged Care Facility experience, including psychogeriatric management. Proven leadership in the healthcare sector, excellent customer relationship skills, and NZ citizenship are also essential.
