Role and Responsibilities

As a Civil Maintenance Worker, you will work in crews responsible for various tasks on Auckland's roads and highways. Based in Mt Wellington, with potential assignments in West Auckland, you will engage in activities such as soft landscaping, litter collection, general maintenance, and mowing using specialized equipment like John Deere mowers or tractors. The standard workday runs from 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, and night shifts from 7:00 pm to 5:00 am are also available.

Skills and Qualifications

• Valid Class 1 full license (Class 2 preferred)
• Prior experience in soft landscaping, litter collection, or traffic control is advantageous
• Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug test
