An established CA firm in Central Auckland is currently in ramp-up mode and seeking a Senior BAS Accountant to join their team. This role offers above-market salary plus benefits and provides a fantastic opportunity to work on annual accounts, tax returns, and high-quality business advice.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Principals and team members on clients from various industries
• Manage workflow and ensure job completion within budget
• Act as a key contact point for client relationship management
• Review work of junior team members (onshore and offshore)
• Focus on technical compliance, value-added advisory work, and stakeholder management

Requirements:

• Past experience in a New Zealand Accounting firm at a reviewer/supervisory level
• Solid working experience with Xero packages and add-ons
• Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
• Experience in engaging with outsourced providers is beneficial
