Job Opportunity: Senior BAS Team Member at Established CA Firm in Central Auckland
Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen at an established CA firm in Central Auckland that is currently in ramp-up mode. They are offering an above-market salary plus benefits for a senior BAS team member to join their rapidly growing practice. The role will involve working closely with the Principals and other team members on a variety of clients from different industries, focusing on annual accounts, tax returns, and high-quality business advice.
Responsibilities
- Manage work flow to ensure jobs are completed within set budgets
- Act as a key contact point for managing client relationships
- Review the work of junior team members, both onshore and offshore
- Emphasize technical compliance and value-added/advisory work over compliance work
Requirements
- Past experience in a New Zealand accounting firm at a reviewer/supervisory level
- Solid working experience with Xero packages and Xero add-ons
- Strong knowledge of NZ IRD tax requirements
- Experience in stakeholder management and direct client communication
- Engagement with outsourced providers would be beneficial
