Job Opportunity: Clinical Engineering Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Technologist

This position is a Core Children's worker under the Children's Act & requires full safety checks completed before any new employee starts.

Health Technology Management (HTM) is seeking a talented individual to join the team at Health Technology Operations in Counties Manukau. As part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact on the community, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to the advancement of healthcare technology.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide specialist clinical engineering ICT services
  • Consultancy and guidance services
  • Oversee the introduction and commissioning of new equipment
  • Perform verification testing and maintenance
  • Conduct assessments across hospitals and clinics

Requirements:

  • Tertiary engineering qualification NZQA level 5/6 or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ experience in ICT technical field
  • Registered as an Electrical Appliance Serviceperson
  • Strong technical skills in medical equipment and ICT systems
  • Problem-solving abilities and ability to work well under pressure
  • Effective communication skills
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment
  • Computer literacy and relevant certifications (MCSE, CCNA)
