Your responsibilities also include supporting the growth of fellow mental health professionals within the team.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse with a current Nursing Council of NZ Annual Practising Certificate. Strong cultural competence and experience working with Māori communities are required. Specialist Mental Health nursing experience, especially in acute and complex cases, is essential. Understanding of ethical and legislative requirements in a prison context is crucial. While a post-graduate qualification in Mental Health is desirable, candidates working towards this qualification are also encouraged to apply.

Salary and Benefits
