About the Company:

Youthline is a national organization dedicated to providing support and advice to Rangatahi in Aotearoa. They are looking for a Clinical Oversight Specialist to join their dedicated team to help promote a thriving environment for young people.

About the Role:

The role involves providing clinical oversight and support for the youth development team, focusing on primary mental health and AOD spaces. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, developing care plans, providing support, maintaining records, and coordinating care plans with other healthcare professionals. The role also involves working with a team to deliver mentoring services, youth activities, programs, and events.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to clients
• Follow up with clients to ensure needs are met
• Maintain accurate client records
• Liaise with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
• Monitor service effectiveness and suggest improvements
• Develop relationships with schools and community stakeholders
• Deliver seminars and workshops

Skills & Experience:

• Must hold one of the specified registrations
• Competent with HEEADSSS framework and AOD assessment tools
• Commitment to professional development
• Understanding of Pacific culture and Te Ao Māori
• Ability to work with diverse backgrounds
