Join Our Team as a Community Speech Language Therapist

Are you a dynamic speech language therapist looking to expand your expertise as part of a full inter-disciplinary team? ABI Rehabilitation Community Services is seeking a Speech-Language Therapist with a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in paediatric and/or neurological rehabilitation. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an experienced paediatric community team based in West Auckland but working across the Auckland region.

About the Role

In this community-based position, you will be providing therapy to children and young adults with acquired brain injury and developmental delays. The role involves visiting clients in their schools and homes within the wider Auckland region, with some clinic-based work as well. It offers the autonomy of working independently while also allowing for collaboration with a supportive inter-disciplinary team.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor of Speech Language Therapy (or equivalent), a minimum of 2 years of work experience, and eligibility for registration with the New Zealand Speech-language Therapists’ Association (NZSTA). Strong interest or experience in paediatrics and cognitive communication is essential, with opportunities for further training available for the right candidate.
