About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Data Analyst to contribute to a Risk & Compliance uplift and a broader Target Operating Model project. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for cleaning, transforming, and analyzing extensive datasets to uncover trends and inconsistencies vital for strategic decision-making. By establishing automated data extraction processes and developing compelling visualizations, you will play a crucial part in shaping our client's business strategy and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

- Perform data cleansing, transformation, and analysis on large datasets to identify trends and inconsistencies. - Develop and maintain automated processes for efficient data extraction. - Translate business requirements into analytical insights for strategic decision-making. - Utilize Power BI or similar tools to create insightful data visualizations and dashboards. - Conduct ad-hoc analyses for periodic reporting and strategic projects. - Ensure data quality through continuous monitoring and evaluation for accuracy and consistency.

Key Skills and Experience:

- Possess over 5 years of experience as a data analyst. - Proficient in SQL for comprehensive data manipulation and querying. - Skilled in Python or R for data analysis, scripting, and visualization. - Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. - Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes. - Strong communication skills to convey complex findings clearly and concisely.
