About the Role

As a Control Room Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our staff, customers, and stakeholder assets. Your responsibilities will include receiving phone calls, monitoring alarm activations, and maintaining clear communication with all levels of staff. The ideal candidate will have excellent English language skills, remain calm under pressure, and demonstrate professionalism in all interactions.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following mandatory requirements:

  • Legally entitled to work in New Zealand
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Credit and Ministry of Justice Criminal History Checks
  • 5-10 years of residency in New Zealand
  • Proficiency in Closed Circuit Television Operation (CCTV)
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for this role will be customer-focused, adaptable to working in a 24/7 operation, and capable of handling emergency situations with confidence. If you have previous experience in security monitoring or a similar field, you will have a competitive advantage. Training will be provided for approximately 4 weeks, including day and night shifts to ensure you are well-prepared for the role.
