About the Counseling Team

Our dynamic Counseling team provides specialist online services for students throughout New Zealand. We work collaboratively with regional teams to support students and prioritize access for those in need. Join us in making a difference in students' lives.

Your Role as a Counsellor

As a Counsellor at Te Kura, you will support the well-being of students and families. Your responsibilities include providing confidential online counseling services to referred students, helping them return to wellness and readiness to learn. Your role is crucial in enhancing student support and success.

Qualifications and Requirements

To thrive in this role, you need to: - Be a qualified counselor - Have a passion for improving student well-being - Be culturally responsive - Be committed to enhancing counseling practices - Be a member of the New Zealand Association of Counselors - Receive regular professional supervision
