Job Opportunity: Diesel Mechanic for FIFO work in Perth, Australia

Overview

We are currently seeking experienced diesel mechanics for FIFO (Fly-In-Fly-Out) work based in Perth, Australia. The position offers a 3-weeks on and 1-week off roster, providing a unique work-life balance. This opportunity is open to candidates from all major cities in Australia.

Job Details

• Work Schedule: 21 days on, 12 hours per day, with 1 day off
• Compensation: Base rate of AU$50 per hour for 8 hours, 2 hours at time and a half, 2 hours at double time; 12% superannuation included; $80 per day camp allowance
• Travel: Flights to and from the site provided every 3 weeks

Requirements

The ideal candidate should be a highly experienced diesel mechanic with a background in working with trucks and other heavy equipment. Additional experience in electrical work, hydraulics, and related skills is highly valued. Preference will be given to candidates who are New Zealand citizens.
