Position Overview: Director of Community Development

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Director of Community Development will be a crucial part of the executive leadership team, overseeing various portfolios such as Planning and Building Services, Environmental Health, and Business Development. Requirements for the Role

The successful candidate will possess a background in community development, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively. While local government experience is preferred, relevant expertise from other sectors will also be considered.

Compensation and Benefits

The Director of Community Development role offers a competitive total reward package, estimated at $310,000, with room for negotiation based on experience. This package includes a base salary starting from $210,000, 13% superannuation, an executive house with a pool near the ocean, a fully expensed 4WD vehicle, utility allowance, and six weeks of annual leave. Additionally, relocation assistance of up to $15,000 will be provided to the successful candidate.
