The Opportunity:

They are currently looking for a Senior Planning and Performance Advisor to join their Northern Region, Planning, Policy, and Performance team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing regional plans that align with the Public Health vision to promote healthy outcomes across the Northern Region.

About You:

To excel in this role, you should have 5-7 years of experience in health, local government, or the public sector. You should be adept at developing strategic approaches, translating policy into action, and establishing evaluation processes to demonstrate outcomes effectively. Additionally, an understanding of the external socio-political environment and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders are essential skills for this position.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in health or public sector/local government policy - Bachelor's qualification in a relevant field - Experience in supervision, mentoring, coaching, and teaching - Ability to work in partnership with iwi/hapū, Māori, and/or Pacific communities
