About Our Kindergarten

Our Christian Kindergarten has been serving the community since 1996 as a ministry of a community-based Christian Church. We take pride in our strong connections to the local community and embrace a diverse range of ethnicities, cultures, and faith groups. The support we receive from our community enriches the experience we provide to our families and their children.

The Role

As an early childhood teacher at our Christian Kindergarten, you will be part of a small team of dedicated and qualified professionals committed to delivering a high-quality learning experience. The ideal candidate for this role should have:

• A strong commitment and enthusiasm towards the Christian faith
• A professional early childhood teaching qualification with at least provisional registration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Location and Compensation

The Kindergarten is located in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland, offering a convenient Central/West Auckland location for both staff and families. This part-time position requires 32 hours per week, with an additional 1.5-hour staff meeting every fortnight. The compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $35 per hour, reflecting our commitment to valuing our educators.
