Job requirements

- Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) - Post-graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching: Early Intervention or ability to attain within four years - Minimum three years of teaching experience and deep knowledge of child development - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job responsibilities

- Support families in their homes and children in Early Learning Services - Work alongside kaiako to promote inclusion - Assist with successful transitions to school - Provide early information, resources, and support to disabled children and their families - Collaborate with specialists from other agencies

Qualifications

- Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood) or equivalent - Post-graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching: Early Intervention (preferred) - Full teacher's registration and current practicing certificate

Skills

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to establish effective relationships with families, early childhood facilities, and other agencies
