Job requirements:
- A qualified and registered ECE teacher with a minimum Level 7 ECE or Primary qualification (or higher).
- Proven leadership experience in an ECE setting.
- Strong understanding of ECE regulations, curriculum frameworks, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for working with children and their families in a community-focused environment.
- Experience in administration, budgeting, and staff supervision is an advantage.
Job responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the centre's daily operations, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children.
- Supervise, mentor, and support experienced teaching staff to deliver high-quality early childhood education.
- Develop and implement educational programs that align with Te Whāriki such as learning stories etc.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with families, whanau, and the wider community.
- Manage enrollments, and centre administration effectively.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and professional development within the team.
Qualifications:
