Our client, located in the heart of Te Atatu Peninsula, is seeking a dedicated Centre Manager to oversee their vibrant and inclusive early childhood centre. If you have a minimum of two years of experience in a management role and a strong understanding of New Zealand's ECE Curriculum, we want to hear from you!

About the Role:

As a Centre Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of educators, developing curriculum in line with New Zealand's Early Childhood Education Curriculum, Te Whāriki, and ensuring the highest quality of care and education for children aged 0-6 years old.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the team, fostering a collaborative work culture.
  • Curriculum Development: Collaborate with educators to implement a curriculum aligned with Te Whāriki.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise teaching staff while ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Parent and Community Engagement: Build positive relationships with families and the local community.
  • Compliance: Ensure the centre adheres to all licensing and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education (preferred) or a qualification in Primary.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within an early childhood education setting.
  • Strong knowledge of New Zealand's ECE regulations and curriculum.
