Overview

A reputable Electrical Engineering Consultancy company, based in Central Auckland, is seeking Intermediate and Senior Electrical Engineers to work on Industrial Electrical projects with some High Voltage work. The company offers a supportive environment with opportunities for growth and development.

Job Responsibilities

The role primarily involves electrical design work, with approximately 80% of the work conducted in the office. Responsibilities include working on spreadsheets, cable calculations, loop drawings, IO schedules, report writing, and utilizing electrical modeling software such as ETAP and Digsilent Power Factory. Industrial Controls work focuses on hardware and communications design rather than software programming.

Qualifications

For Intermediate Electrical Engineers, the ideal candidate should possess practical electrical experience, knowledge of electrical schematics, cable & IO schedules, report writing capabilities, and electrical calculations ability. A minimum of 3 years' relevant electrical engineering experience and an Electrical Engineering Degree are required.
