The Role

We are currently looking for a proactive and results-oriented Engineering Manager to lead our team at the Glenfield manufacturing site in Auckland. In this key role, you will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring facility and equipment safety, and operational readiness for daily production. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our facility at optimal levels.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead the Engineering function to ensure facility and equipment safety
• Maintain comprehensive engineering records and preventive maintenance schedules
• Develop engineering teams and manage contractor performance
• Implement efficient preventive maintenance program
• Oversee tender preparation, vendor selection, and relationship management

About You

To excel in this role, you will need:

• 5+ years of experience in a complex engineering environment
• Demonstrated experience in engineering/maintenance management
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Engineering qualifications or equivalent experience
