Position Overview: Electrical Engineer

Aryzta is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to optimize equipment performance and drive efficiency in their Glenfield, Auckland industrial bakery. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the facility and equipment are maintained safely to meet daily production requirements.

Main Responsibilities:

• Management of end-to-end processes and equipment performance
• Preventive maintenance on designated equipment
• Testing and calibration activities
• Identifying defects and engaging in maintenance activities
• Participation in development projects and continuous improvement activities
• Compliance with production plan and quality standards

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications and skills:

Qualifications:

• Electrical trade certificate

Skills:

• Sound Electrical and Mechanical knowledge
• Basic Computer Skills
• Competency in using Allen-Bradley products
• Understanding of pneumatics and hydraulic systems
• Experience in FMCG/Food or pharmaceutical manufacturing (preferred)
• Effective Communication and attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the role
