Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our esteemed Broking Team in Takapuna as an SME Commercial Broker. This role involves providing expert advice to SME clients, serving as the primary contact with underwriters, and delivering exceptional customer service. While prior experience in the insurance industry is beneficial, it is not required as comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of SME clients through phone and email communication
• Act as a key liaison between clients and underwriters, offering timely advice
• Handle renewals, new business, and policy amendments
• Assist in setting up new policies and managing premium collections
• Resolve client queries and collaborate with the claims team
• Maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to cultivate lasting relationships with clients and team members
• Prior experience in insurance is advantageous
• Results-driven with excellent administration and detail-oriented skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and effective time management
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Certificate in Financial Services (NZQA Level 5) is required
