Job Details for Dental Assistant Position

The dental assistant position at Flash. The Dentists on Dominion Road is open for 30-37 hours per week. The primary responsibilities include working closely with the Principal Dentist and associate Dentists to provide excellent clinical treatment to patients, setting up for clinical appointments, maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patient care, sterilizing equipment, booking appointments, providing follow-up care, and more.

Work Environment and Benefits

The practice operates from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and is closed on weekends and public holidays, providing a great work-life balance. The practice also closes for 3 weeks over the Christmas/New Year period, allowing employees to spend quality time with friends and family during the summer. As part of Collective Dental, professional coaching, ongoing training, and team days are provided to support personal and professional growth. Employees have opportunities to attend courses and upskill in areas of interest within the dental field.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate for this role is a team player who is punctual, able to multitask, take direction well, and has good interpersonal and communication skills. They should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be adaptable, and have a positive attitude. Previous dental experience is a must for this busy role, but candidates with clerical experience in the medical field may also be considered.
