Key Responsibilities of a Powder Coater

As an experienced Powder Coater, you will play a crucial role in our production process by ensuring that all coated products meet our strict quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing surfaces for coating by cleaning, degreasing, and masking as needed
• Applying powder coatings using electrostatic or manual spray equipment
• Monitoring coating thickness and adjusting settings for optimal results
• Operating curing ovens and ensuring proper curing of products
• Inspecting finished products for defects and performing touch-ups or rework as necessary
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work area and equipment
• Adhering to safety guidelines and protocols at all times

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

• Prior experience in Powder Coating within an industrial setting
• The ability to lift up to 25kgs
• Proficiency in operating powder coating equipment and related tools
• A strong understanding of powder coating techniques and processes
• Excellent attention to detail and a focus on quality
• Effective time management skills to meet production deadlines
• A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime as needed
