**Join Our Team as a Face-to-Face Counsellor at Youthline South Auckland**

**Introduction:** Youthline is on the lookout for a dedicated and professionally registered counsellor to join our team at the South Auckland Centre in Papatoetoe. This full-time position is fixed-term until June 2025 and involves delivering short-term therapeutic intervention for young people aged 12-24 as part of our contract with CMDHB.

**Qualifications and Requirements:** To be eligible for this role, you must: - Be a fully registered member of DAPAANZ or have a Te Whatu Ora Accreditation (which can be applied for if you are a full member of NZAC and hold a Bachelor's Degree). - Hold a recognized tertiary qualification in a therapeutic field (counselling, psychotherapy, or psychology). - Possess a current APC and must be HPCA or DAPAANZ affiliated. - Have demonstrated experience in person-centered, pluralistic, and strengths-based therapy both in-person and online. - Showcase strong leadership and relationship development skills, organizational abilities, and effective communication skills. - Maintain a high level of professionalism with excellent time management, administrative practices, and attention to detail. - Engage in regular clinical supervision and show a commitment to ongoing professional development. - Demonstrate knowledge of the Treaty of Waitangi and a commitment to providing a culturally competent service.
