About the Role

As a Family Start Worker, you will be working with high-needs families from Pacific and Asian communities, providing support to enhance their parenting skills and overall well-being.

Family Start is a free service designed to assist parents and caregivers who are facing challenges that are impacting their ability to parent effectively. Your role as a Family Start Worker will involve empowering families to build confidence in their parenting abilities and to strive for better social, educational, and health outcomes.

Key Requirements: - Familiarity with the Family Start approach - Ability to connect families with community resources - Training in 'Parents As First Teachers' or willingness to undergo training - Preferably holds a Level B social work qualification - Registered with the Social Worker Registration Board - Proficiency in a Pacific language is beneficial - Proficient in computer skills - Possession of a valid Driver's License
