Job Description
As a Firmware Verification Engineer at Basis, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that firmware and integrated systems meet product requirements. You will work closely with the embedded software team and contribute to the development of cross-functional processes, test automation, and new testing equipment. Your responsibilities will include development testing, unit testing, verification testing, pre-compliance testing, test automation, system testing, infrastructure development, and best practice implementation.
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering or similar field
- 2+ years of experience in development or test roles in embedded software engineering
- Proficiency in Python for developing test scripts and automating testing systems
- Experience with electrical test equipment and software infrastructure testing
- Knowledge of embedded C/C++ test methods and software source control systems
