About the Role:

If you have a background in events or hold an event management degree, this full-time position based at Soljans Estate Winery in Kumeu might be the perfect fit for you. As a Functions and Wedding Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing and organizing various events such as functions, weddings, conferences, meetings, and more. Your role will involve interacting with clients, handling inquiries, and collaborating with the restaurant manager and chef to ensure seamless event execution.

As the face of the company, you'll need to maintain a professional appearance, possess excellent communication skills, exude confidence, and have a welcoming demeanor with a can-do attitude. Attention to detail is crucial as you strive to deliver work of the highest standard. Proactivity is key in this role, and you'll also be expected to engage with tour companies, both local and international, to maximize business opportunities.

Additionally, you may be required to assist in other areas of the business, including conducting wine tastings at the Cellar Door, which presents an opportunity for expanding your knowledge and skills.
