The Opportunity as a Human-Centred Designer

As a Human-Centred Designer at Auckland Transport, you will play a vital role in co-creating exceptional experiences for Aucklanders. What Are We Looking For?

• Experience in design thinking, service design, and experience design
• Strong group facilitation skills for leading sprints and workshops
• Collaborative mindset with a focus on working with diverse teams
• Empathy for understanding customer needs and experiences
• Curiosity, openness to new ideas, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in a complex environment
• Coaching experience in Human-Centred Design practices
• Personal resilience, pragmatism, and customer focus
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
• Preferred experience working with Māori and Pasifika communities
• Knowledge of agile ways of working is a plus
