Global Cloud Infrastructure Manager / DevOps (Azure) Full-time Job

Overview

An established and growing company is seeking a Global Cloud Infrastructure Manager with a strong technical background in systems engineering and management experience. The role involves supporting, maintaining, automating, and enhancing the company's global cloud hosting infrastructure in Azure.

Requirements

• BSc or BEng or BA or qualified by experience
• At least 5 years+ of systems engineering experience in Windows, including working with Azure
• At least 5 years+ of managing a team of systems engineers in a similar role or complex IT environment
• Technical background in Windows and the cloud, such as AWS, GCP, or ideally Azure (provisioning & management experience), PowerShell, and SQL
• Experience in monitoring performance, system health, cybersecurity, and overseeing infrastructure architecture
• Project management experience in new infrastructure projects
• Implementing/managing security compliance, including data protection and access controls
• Understanding of software configuration and development processes to deliver to customers
• Proven leadership skills in growing and developing an infrastructure team
• Enjoy mentoring and helping systems engineers grow
• Excellent communication, spoken English, and solid writing/documentation skills

Responsibilities

The Global Cloud Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for improving processes, mentoring systems engineers, and ensuring the smooth operation of the company's cloud infrastructure. This includes overseeing performance monitoring, cybersecurity, infrastructure architecture, and security compliance.
