About the Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing grid connection strategies for renewable energy projects in New Zealand. This includes assessing grid capacity, securing grid access agreements, and ensuring compliance with regulations and standards. You will also be managing stakeholder relationships, conducting technical assessments, and overseeing the grid connection process from planning to energization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in grid connection or power system engineering
• Comprehensive understanding of New Zealand's electricity market and regulatory framework
• Strong expertise in grid connection design and renewable energy technologies
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
