Group Manager - Risk, Audit & Assurance

Health NZ is looking for a strategic leader to join their team as a Group Manager in Risk, Audit, and Assurance. Responsibilities:

• Lead national risk, issue management, audit practices, and assurance across the Infrastructure and Investment Group.
• Develop and implement risk, audit, and assurance frameworks at a national and regional level.
• Oversee the delivery of assurance, risk, and issue reporting.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to staff in risk and audit functions.
• Prepare reports and presentations for key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in Risk Management and/or Audit in a large organization.
• Knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience in preparing reports for audit committees.
• Understanding of infrastructure life cycle and investment delivery.

Skills and Experience:

• Strategic leadership and coordination in risk and audit functions.
• Clear strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
• Experience in strategy development and implementation.
• Knowledge of Crown Entity assurance and audit responsibilities.
